Who We Are

Pleasant View is a church that believes in family! Families stay actively involved in all aspects of church activities and fellowship. Several times each month we get together for various meals and family fellowships. Parents actively participate in both children and youth activities. Our new Family Life Center is open each weekday for walking, basketball and exercise in our well equipped exercise room. Another special part of our church is one truly fun bunch of seniors! Our seniors believe in getting together for good times, taking trips and doing dinners. We have a special ministry to several nursing homes in our area.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to reach those who are lost with the Gospel of Jesus, to teach those who come to faith in Christ how to follow Him, to train disciples in faithfully carrying out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and to send missionaries for the purpose of multiplying Jesus' Kingdom as the Holy Spirit enables us.

Beliefs

The Bible is the Word of God. It is God's revelation of Himself and His plan of redemption to His fallen creation. All of humanity has been in a fallen state due to sin and the sin nature which has been passed down since Adam and Eve. Human beings are in desparate need of a savior. Jesus is the unique Son of God who has existed throughout eternity and was sent by God the Father to pay the penalty for our sin. We can only be saved by grace through faith in Jesus. We are saved and placed in the Body of Christ for the purpose of discipleship. Fully developed disciples are disciple-makers.
