April Fool’s day

April Fool’s Day might be what they call April 1st. Still, on this April 1st, we have some great things going on. Our Brotherhood always has a breakfast on the first Saturday of the month. This time the first Saturday falls on April 1st. There is nothing foolish about the fellowship and work one can participate in through the Brotherhood.

On this particular Saturday, we will help complete the youth suite upstairs in our main building. You don’t even have to be a brother to help. There is nothing foolish about accomplishing this type of work. We pray our youth will have a great environment to learn about Jesus and grow closer to Him in. Working toward that goal as we pray is wise, not foolish at all.

I hear somebody is celebrating a birthday on April 1st. That celebration will be at the FLC on April Fool’s Day. No, really. I’m not kidding. This lady who is celebrating her birthday that day is one of the greatest people I know. She is no fool. That’s for sure.

Outside of these events, there may be a bunch of foolish jokes played. If truth be known, I might even try to fool a person or two that day. I enjoy a good laugh. Yet, one can exercise plenty of wisdom even on a day with the name Fool in it.
