Eric Stephens is from southeastern Kentucky and has lived in Clarksville, TN since July 2023. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Education - Secondary Education - Social Studies Education (with an emphasis in history and a minor emphasis in geography) from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. He has a calling to preach and teach important meaning that is testified of in the Holy Bible. As part of him being equipped to walk out that calling, God has led him to do in-depth biblical research and study, including studying Biblical Hebrew (which is the language that the majority of the Bible was written in) and Biblical Greek, as well as other elements that are involved in proper biblical hermeneutics—such as immediate target audience, larger target audience, and culture (e.g., Hebraic thought, rabbinic teaching methods, etc.) that are vital to understand in order to correctly and fully understand meaning that is testified of within the Holy Bible by placing Scriptures on their historic, biblical foundations. God has led him to teach and preach in a variety of kinds of ways—including through scholarly writing that is in the field of biblical studies and through creative writing—and in a variety of kinds of contexts and mediums. He graduated with honors from the Oral Roberts University Graduate School of Theology and Ministry, which is a highly accredited Christian interdenominational graduate school/seminary, with a Master of Arts in Biblical Literature (Judaic-Christian Studies) in May 2017. He, his wife (Cella Bella), and daughter (Adeline Hadley Tikvah [which is a Hebrew noun that means “hope”] Stephens) reside in Clarksville, TN. He has served as the Youth and Associate Pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church since September 7th, 2025.

She was a stay-at-home mom and considers that as one of her greatest privileges and gifts. She has been blessed with bonus sons and daughters along the way. She currently has 6 grandchildren. Kathy serves as a lead in the Sister’s in Service Ministry, and in other various ways, alongside her husband, Steve Davis, in various ways here at PVBC. She has been the administrative assistant since Oct 2024, and looks forward to growing and serving God, continually seeking His direction and instruction concerning the best ways that she may be used to further His kingdom work.
